IMPReSS Coordinates Input Form

HELP: click the link for any parameter for more information.

1. COORDINATE SELECTION [above]
   

   Input object name or coordinates (RA, DEC) of the center of the desired field.
   Acceptable forms for coordinates (comma is optional):

   • sexagesimal: hh mm ss, dd mm ss
   • decimal degrees: deg, deg

   Select other parameters as required. Be sure to select the correct equinox! Then press Submit.

2. MISSION LIST [next page]

   A list of missions is produced that have observations in your requested region of sky. Click the missions you wish to see.

   • Plot: Plots the observation footprints on the sky

3. DATA PLOT & ACQUISITION [third page]

   Results are produced here:

   • A plot of the observation footprints on the sky. Click the map to select only those observations that include the point clicked.
   • Links to the data at their home data centers.
   • An observation list.

4. CHANGING YOUR SELECTIONS
   To change region size or other parameters, go to Step 1.
   To change selected missions, go to Step 2.
