ADCADC/CDS Standard Document for Catalog:

The ADC has expanded its resources in order to better serve our users, we have developed a new category called "external" to complement our catalogs and journal table directories. AMASE provides pointers to the actual data archived by NASA including some ADC catalogs. You can access AMASE through the URL:
http://amase.gsfc.nasa.gov.

The following is an abbreviated "ReadMe" document that describes this external data set.

Description:
  AMASE is an on-line data-locating service with pointers to the data. On-line
  is a multi-mission, multi-spectral object oriented catalog that can be 
  searched using astronomical criteria as positions, names, coordinates, and
  classification. In the future colors, fluxes, spectral bandpasses, surface
  brightnesses, velocities, proper motions, and redshifts will be searchable.

  AMASE provides pointers to the actual data archived by NASA including 
  some ADC catalogs.
