Description:
   The catalog is a compilation of 1282 white dwarfs that have been identified
   spectroscopically up to January 1987.  It is the third edition of the
   Villanova Catalog of Spectroscopically Identified White Dwarfs.  Although
   the third edition does not incorporate a large number of newly discovered
   stars, quite a few revisions, corrections, and some additions have been
   made.  The catalog contains cross identifications, equatorial coordinates
   (equinox and equator B1950), spectral types, magnitudes of various
   bandpasses, absolute visual magnitudes, proper motions, radial velocities,
   and trigonometric parallaxes, and references.
