Description:
The catalogue contains photographic M(PG) and photovisual M(PV) magnitudes
for 3124 stars in the SA 40 in the international photometric system and
photored magnitudes M(PR) in the Harvard photometric system. It is a part of
the "Catalogue of photographic, photovisual and photored magnitudes for
22000 stars" (Voroshilov et al. 1962). The area of 9 square degrees is
centered at 20 hours 47 minutes, +45 degrees (1900). The photographic and
photovisual magnitudes were obtained, respectively, from three AGFA ASTRO
and three AGFA ISS plates taken with the 120/700 mm astrograph, and photored
magnitudes were obtained from four AGFA ISS plates taken with the 100/500 mm
astrograph of the main astronomical observatory of the Ukrainian Academy of
Sciences in Kiev in 1958/1959. Exposure time was 30 minutes. The magnitude
limit is approximately 13.5(PG). The internal mean square errors of the
determined values of PG, PV and PR magnitudes are 0.04. The catalogue is
arranged in declination zones. The numbering of stars in each zone is
approximately in order of right ascension, X and Y coordinates for
identification of stars are on the Bergedorfer Spektral Durchmusterung
   system (Schwassmann et al. 1938).
