II/63A Balmer Lines Photometric Data (Mermilliod+ 1980)
================================================================================
A Compilation of Balmer lines photometric data
Mermilliod J.C., Mermilliod M.
<Bull. Inform. CDS 19, 65 (1980)>
=1980BICDS..19...65M
================================================================================
ADC_Keywords: Balmer lines ; Photometry, hydrogen-line
Description:
The purpose of the catalogue is to collect the photometric
determination of the Balmer line-strength. Eleven different systems,
including the measurements of one or more lines, from H{alpha} to
H{delta}, have been found when surveying the literature. These include
alpha, beta, gamma, alpha,beta, beta,gamma, and alpha,beta,gamma from
various authors.
The Stroemgren H{beta} photometry is not not included in this version.

The integrated light intensity within a band defined by the wavelength
limits 6545-6580{AA}. centered on Halpha was measured on one
photomultiplier (A). The combined integrated light-intensity within
the two comparison regions defined respectively by the wavelength
limits 6477.5 to 6495.0{AA} and 6630.0 to 6647.5{AA} was measured by a
second photomultiplier (B).
The index Ralpha = (B / BL) / (A / AL)
where B and A are the output for the side band and Halpha,
and BL and AL the corresponding fluxes for the lamp.
Note on phot62.dat: Beer photometric system (1964MNRAS.128..261B)

The index Rgamma = [(a)/(aL)]/[(b)/(bL)]
where (a) and (b) are the fluxes of the star,
and (aL) and (bL) those of the lamp.
