ADC_Keywords: Positional data ; Proper motions

Description:
   This catalog is derived from observations with the Greenwich transit
   circle in the years 1915 to 1921. It consists primarily of fundamental
   stars that culminate within 80 deg. of the zenith at Greenwich. The
   positions have been reduced to the equinox of 1925.0. The probable
   errors in right ascension range from 0.48" near the equator to 0.33"
   at declinations between 55 deg. and 65 deg. The proper motions are
   from Boss' "Preliminary Catalogue". This catalog contains for each
   star, an ordinal number, the number in Boss' "Preliminary General
   Catalogue", the common name, the magnitude and spectral type from the
   "Henry Draper Catalog", the mean right ascension and declination, the
   precession and secular variation calculated from Newcomb's constants,
   the proper motions, the number of observations above and below the
   pole, and the mean epoch of the observations.
