Instructions
CatsEye
plots column data from ASCII tables (in the form currently produced in the
ADC Viewer
). All tables in your workspace are available for plotting and overplotting.
PLOT PARAMETERS [left frame]
Select:
Which catalog(s) to plot
X
and
Y
parameters
Plot symbol
Then press
Make Plot
.
PLOT DISPLAY [this frame]
Requested plot appears here.
Rescale:
Enter new
X
and
Y
ranges and choose log scales if desired. Then press
Rescale Plot
.
Point selection:
The plot is clickable.
Click on the plot to display the catalog records of any point within 5 pixels of your click.
CATALOG LISTING [bottom frame]
The catalog records for each point clicked on the plot are listed.
The same columns selected in the ADC Viewer are displayed. (Column headings are coming soon.)
Click the "
I
" on the left of each record to go to
IMPReSS
to plot observation footprints on the sky for that object's position.
